In-flight partnership Slate Aviation teams up with Buccan on South Florida routes

Slate Aviation is giving South Floridians an elevated dining experience, thanks to Palm Beach favorite Buccan.

The newly launched, premium shared-charter service provider has partnered with seven-time James Beard-nominated Chef Clay Conley to create a custom curated menu of in-flight offerings, available only to Slate passengers on South Florida routes.

“Our vision for Slate has always been to create a truly special, personalized experience for our guests, and if you are from the South Florida market, you know no culinary experience is more special than Buccan,” says Heather Maguire, co-CEO of SLATE Aviation. “We’re thrilled to partner with Clay for our first culinary collaboration, and grateful for the opportunity to serve his incredible food to our passengers.”

The menu, which launched with its current offerings of five simple, fresh dining selections and a variety of signature brewed beverages and craft cocktails from Buccan Sandwich Shop, can be pre-selected as a complimentary offering by ticketed passengers up to 48 hours in advance of the flight. “I’m grateful that Matthew and Heather had the vision to pursue this partnership – it’s been a fun, new challenge to create a menu for luxury airline passengers, and it’s exciting to see Buccan being served at 40,000 feet!” says Chef.

The Buccan menu is available on flights between Nantucket and Palm Beach International and Fort Lauderdale

International. This summer, it’s expected to be added to northbound routes between

New York and South Florida.

In March, Slate announced shuttle service to Nantucket from PBI, FLL, and New York. The new Nantucket service builds upon the existing operations between New York and South Florida. For more, visit flyslate.com.
